Re: Obligatory "The Last Jedi" Thread...

I'm so looking forward to it because I had to wait a week to see Force Awakens due to being ho...

I'm not usually a James Franco enthusiast but 'The Disaster Artist' was a lot of fun.

Re: Dare we ever try another film fest?

I was actually going to suggest that rather another festival, how would people feel about a script writing competition of some sort?

Although I am actually hoping to film something in January so I'm down.

Actually, if something you come up with ends up being used by a big show, it kinda means as a filmmaker, you're on the right track :D

I think the last concern Mark and I have, is whether or not we have an audience.

Really enjoyed your take on Joi. I'm tired of the reviews saying that since the film features virtual girlfriends and sex workers it's terrible, rather than making a comment on the way certain tech is going.

We're not allowed conflict, Gene Roddenberry said so!

Does anyone even watch it any more?
I watch it. I think the last season was a step up from the previous few but I mainly watch to see where it will go, I've never been inclined to rewatch any of it.

Bummer about Star Trek. Is it really that awful?
Nope! It's fucking ace!

And House of Cards, well...
Really weird that they'd halt production like this. Curious to see how it will effect the show.

Re: Untitled Australian Roadtrip Movie

IMDB is actually located in Bristol, We probably should have arranged a visit for Chad when he was here. I always think people who offer IMDB credits as a crowdfunding reward are playing with fire. knowing how often people would just not get listed or misspelt. Looking it up, I was pleasantly surpri...

Re: Podcasts...

Started listening to Homecoming I rather enjoyed Homecoming, until I realised I'd stopped listening after about six episodes, I should go back and finish it. Recently I've been listening to Storybreak by famous Youtuber FreddieW. Where a group of writers have an hour to break a movie idea based on ...

How so?
Didn't know the stuff about Graysmith being unreliable. I thought you made an interesting point about the characters never really feeling in danger.

Also I really need to sit down and watch Mind Hunter.

Interesting take on the film. Whilst, not Fincher's best, I always liked this one.
