I suppose thus begins to answer that question someone in here posed a decade ago: 'will anyone on the internet find out if (any of us) dies?'
I will be sure to use my final chunk of energy to post an announcement on here when I go.

Re: The "I just watched a movie" thread

You’re right! I was thinking this earlier when someone pointed out that “That 70s Show” would be “That 90s Show” if made today with the same timespan. Technically the Harry Potter films/books were set in the 90s but nobody noticed. But yeah, doesn’t seem to be an era that can be romanticised for som...

Re: ITT: Most Complete TV Series of ALL TIME?

The Office UK: Series 1 has one storyline over six episodes. Series 2 has another storyline over six episodes. And the 1.5 hour finale completes an overall story arc. And that’s it. Nothing’s dragged out and the show ends before Ricky Gervais became annoying. It’s like one long film you can watch ov...

NAUGHTY SOLDIERS We spent most of 2003 making this. Riding off the back of films such as 28 Days Later and Shaun of the Dead, alongside people getting excited about the potential of MiniDV. We spent a lot, and we learnt a lot. We took a hiatus to film our final university film and when we came back...

So, how has this happened? Is it just a single surround channel or is it as dumb as not exporting all the sound layers?

Watched it again last night. Enjoyed it even more. Most of all it's great fun, and the plot is simple enough to not destroy my brain.

Re: Star Wars - Rogue One

I loved it. Any problems I had with it can be dismissed with "Yeah but it's not part of a main trilogy is it?" and then I feel better about life and myself. I don't think the characters will go down in history or anything, but what a lot of fun it is. Also it increased my "What the hell was George L...

Haha! I used to doodle in it in that way back in the early 90s. I did some in Photoshop but it never felt as fun so turned back to Paint.

Of course I had to bring it all back in to Photoshop afterwards before After Effects, but it was great to go back to simple stuff!

Puppies and kittens. What a choice you have there. A choice of two. Some would ask if you could choose neither. Many would say you certainly wouldn't choose the choice that ended up winning the great...puppy and kitten...race...

In case you didn't see it (I know it was forced upon some of you) - A title sequence I animated with a lovely guy called Lee Daniels for a computer game based TV show here in the UK - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isiHO5KwgC4 Took about a month and I drew about 95% of the elements in Microsoft Pai...

Re: TV: What are you currently watching?

Also late to the party, but just watched Stranger Things and absolutely loved it. I'm really happy that they're making shorter series over in the US. The lack of padding in Stranger Things meant it was great fun from start to finish. No padding and tight stories with an actual ending (imagine Lost a...
