Poor Chad, he decided to bring the forum back so he'd have some companionship and all this talk has left him feeling more lonely than ever.

Haven't done anything film wise in quite some time.
Virginia?! When the hell did that happen? Hell, I still assumed you were in NorCal. uh... lol. WELCOME BACK with your FOUR CHILDREN. WTF tony! ;)
I got here about 2.5 years ago. I ended up not going to California, someone traded me for the position in Hawaii.

'Sup all?

Has it truly been sixteen years since we all e-met here? I feel like I've known most of you for a long, long time. People from various places in the world, sharing similar interests, all coming together on an obscure web forum, catching up two decades later. Hell, there's a possible script in there somewhere.

I don't work in TV or movies or entertainment at all. I have no fun or interesting stories to share about that sadly. I'm still a landscape photographer, and I do still write though, which is where my aspirations have always been, although life has taken me on a few twists and down some dead end streets in the past few years.

Right now I live in Las Vegas and scrape out a pitiful existence working for The Man.

I get the sense, and I could be wrong, that "Seinfeld" never really took off in England the way "Friends", the other NBC giant of its era, did.

I read a fascinating article recently on doing the German (I thinkā€¦) dub for "Seinfeld". It's a very difficult show to do, apparently, because so many of the gags came from the little words and phrases they coined, invented, etc.

My wife stills watches Seinfeld DVDs here in the UK. I don't hate it, but it wasn't huge over here.

There is a chance I will be meeting Jonathan Frakes (Cmdr. William T. Riker, duh) through my TV job in the coming months. Surely this will culminate in a great and lasting friendship and we'll send each other funny greeting cards and shit.

He always posts on Twitter "Where am I?" And then a photo. Maybe buy him a map.

Guys, everything sucks. Jonath-- erm... Mr. Frakes will not be coming in to work on his director's cuts of his episodes.

I was going to make him a pie.

Boooo! Even Robin Wright comes in for her director's cuts. What a slacker.

We'll just ignore the name dropping ;)

and Chad's like "As you wish"

"Would you like your toast buttered?"

"1% or 2%?"

"Coffee or tea?"

I was feeling all nostalgic and look what I found. I went by "omen" back in the day. I still art all over people, push suspended pigments around on various surfaces, scribble mindless images on dead tree fiber, move a stylus around on a wacom, and still have absolutely nothing to do with the film/television industry aside from consumerism. Good to briefly make your acquaintances again.

Hahaha, that's awesome. Welcome back, man!

Funny, I was just about to open a "who uses a Wacom" thread...

Daily. If I wasn't a poor, starving artist I would have and be glued to one of these like a teen is to their cell phone: http://www.wacom.com/en-us/products/pen ... ompanion-2

Nice. We had one of the larger screen wacoms at work, but no one liked it for editorial work - so it's sitting and collecting dust now. I only started using a wacom a year ago, when my wrist finally gave out and I just couldn't use a mouse anymore without my arm feeling like it was going to fall off. Now I'm on a wacom intuos 4. Love it.
