Actual film is still useful. Whatever you have, exposed or not, hang onto it. The price for this particular application tripled overnight.

I'm not positive, but I don't think a standard 36 shot roll of old SLR or point and shoot camera film is that long. Must be video film, don't have any of that laying around to compare. I think stiff fabric ribbon might be a easily accessible alternative. Oh, you know I'm trying this.
