2k Film Fest #...6? Or 7? I don't remember
Thanks to Lance, we actually finished another film fest with AT LEAST one final finished short film. I don't think there's been a festival we've done without at least one completion. I could be wrong. Lank and Lance have saved us in recent years. Maybe Lanqce will save us next, wherever THEY are.
So. What are we thinking? I definitely don't have time, so I can't think of a better time to add more shit to my plate. Should it be another "studio" film festival? Where we find a writer, director and editor to do all this shit? Thoughts? I know there's been some thoughts. Let's have more.

I am down for anything, might be what I need to get one of these ideas in my head down on paper as an actual script. Maybe even filmed and everything.

I'm down.
Currently, I'm in the middle of moving to another country and looking for a new job so I totally don't have time for any of this, but I'm more than down for signing up and then not finishing it. I don't really think you can ask more than that anymore?

Well, there's three of us! That's a start, right?

Yep, team 1.
Writer: Martin (*Lance)
Director: Chad (*Lance)
Editor: Lance (*Lance)
Looks like I'm doing it solo again.

I definitely intend to shoot another short film this year, even if it is just another one of me and Stu running around and adding explosions in after.

Shall we write out our "wants"? As in, not necessarily what we want out of the film fest, but actually what jobs we prefer? Just to get an idea of how this is going to play out...

I like the idea of a collaborative endeavor. Maybe have a few scripts based around one plot/common event that can be shot and edited individually as shorts, then all placed together to make a longer anthology style short film. Everyone can brainstorm ideas and troubleshoot issues with the stories. Then the designated writers create scripts that somehow relate/intertwine. Directors can alter scripts as necessary during production as long as it doesn't interfere or detract from with the common thread. The stories can be completely unrelated, even different genres and styles, as long as they come together on a single aspect throughout. Just a thought. It would require some participation to pull it off but could be fun to see what comes out of it.

Or, I mean, whatever.
