Am I the only one super excited to see this?

I was excited when I heard they were making it but I don't let myself get too worked up in anticipation for anything these days. I tend to expect too much and come away disappointed when I do. Lends an undeserved negativity to the experience. The talent line up is awesome. I am looking forward to seeing Val Kilmer on screen again, and I still have a little residual crush on Jennifer Connelly so.

We watched the first Top Gun the other day... first time in probably two years. I don't remember it being this bad. haha

I’m so excited that I was actually singing the theme out loud as I logged on to NP2k, haha!

It’s definitely a product of its time. I file it under the “I like it because it’s old and shit” category. Tried to get a friend to watch it for the first time the other day, she checked out after 20
Minutes and we couldn’t blame her.

But I’m excited for a modern take and some non-CG action

Saw it, not too shabby. Enjoyable way to spend two hours.

Haven't seen the original in forever, maybe that helped.
